Performance & Business Support Manager

Grade 14: £48,492 - £50,448 (pay award pending)

We’ve transformed our Place Directorate and our Housing Property & Asset Services.

Now all we need is you.

Delivering thousands of new homes. Meeting the climate emergency. Ensuring the safety of residents. These are just some of the challenges facing the borough of Ealing. To meet these 21st century issues and bring progress borough-wide, we’ve transformed our Place Directorate so it’s fit for a fast-changing world. Play your part in a joined-up service that’s built to support our exciting plans.

As a Performance & Business Support Manager, you will be an integral member of the Housing Property and Assets Service (HP&AS) Management team. Your main task is to ensure the service runs at its best, both on a strategic and operational level. Day to day, you’ll be monitoring performance, benchmarking services and managing a Performance & Business Support team. Together, you’ll assist HP&AS managers, providing support for admin, ICT and finance.

Working for the Head of Housing Property and Assets, you’ll need a good understanding of asset management services, local authority finance and schedule of rates and work valuation methods. It’s also important that you can prepare complex reports on business unit performance, using statistical reporting techniques. You’ll combine this expertise with a creative approach to solving problems and strong management skills. Able to get the best out of teams, you’re organised, able to analyse and present data, and a great communicator.

We want Council tenants and leaseholders to get the very best from us. Take pride in meeting the challenge as part of a progressive, forward-looking team.
