Strategic Land Manager – Oxfordshire – Basic salary to c£80,000
About the Client
My client is an established and exceptionally well-funded group of companies who operate throughout Warwickshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Hertfordshire. Their house building division is increasing their unit production and they require a proven strategic land professional to help drive forward the long-term future growth of the businesses.
About the role:
Reporting directly to the Managing Director you will work independently and be responsible for acquiring strategic land throughout the area mention above. You will take the commercial lead on all ‘strategic’ acquisitions whilst also being accountable for cash flows and profitability, translating this into board reports.
Land should be a minimum of three to four acres (100 to 150 units) however larger brownfield schemes i.e. 1,000 units, will also be considered if they are commercially viable.
What We're Looking for:
Experience of securing strategic land for a house builder / strategic land promoter and promoting sites through the planning process, as well as knowledge of the Yorkshire strategic land market are essential.
First class communication and presentation skills are essential, as you will be interacting with both internal and external contacts, using your persuasive character to co-ordinate and negotiate deals.
