Our client is looking for an experienced Property Administrator with a strong background in commercial property and block management. The ideal candidate will have experience in this particular field and possess an enthusiastic and ‘can do’ attitude.
The role & responsibilities:
- Ability to read and interpret leases
- Assisting in the preparation of service charge budgets and reconciliations
- Promptly answering tenant correspondence and queries
- Ensuring the systems are up to date and completing lease update forms.
- Meter readings
- Site inspections re: specific works or feedback regarding particular issues
- Attending occupier meetings
- Report writing
- Making sure insurance inspection works are completed
- Document control
- Authorise site works in collaboration with the surveyor
- Site inspections re: specific works or feedback regarding particular issues
- Attending occupier meetings
- Chase tenants for debt
- Deal with local authority rates etc
- Arrange compliance with void insurance obligations
- Maintain control of void properties and control invoices being sent to the client
- Be able to deal with client and tenant requests for information
- General administrative duties, updating databases and spreadsheets.

- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of communicating at various levels
- Effective PC skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft
- Pro-active, flexible attitude to changes in the company, IT systems and the role
- Able to read and understand Leases and other legal documents
- Ideally have some knowledge of relevant Landlord and Tenant
- Act, RICS and ARMA Guidelines and Regulations (basic/working)
- Willingness to assist colleagues as required
- Excellent communication, in person, on the phone and in email
- Desire to learn new systems & methods or working
