Our client is looking for an experienced Property Administrator with a strong background in commercial property and block management. The ideal candidate will have experience in this particular field and possess an enthusiastic and ‘can do’ attitude. 

The role & responsibilities:

  •  Ability to read and interpret leases
  • Assisting in the preparation of service charge budgets and reconciliations
  • Promptly answering tenant correspondence and queries
  • Ensuring the systems are up to date and completing lease update forms.
  • Meter readings
  • Site inspections re: specific works or feedback regarding particular issues
  • Attending occupier meetings
  • Report writing
  • Making sure insurance inspection works are completed
  • Document control
  • Authorise site works in collaboration with the surveyor
  • Site inspections re: specific works or feedback regarding particular issues
  • Attending occupier meetings
  • Chase tenants for debt
  • Deal with local authority rates etc
  • Arrange compliance with void insurance obligations
  • Maintain control of void properties and control invoices being sent to the client
  • Be able to deal with client and tenant requests for information
  • General administrative duties, updating databases and spreadsheets.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of communicating at various levels
  • Effective PC skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft

  • Able to read and understand Leases and other legal documents
  • Ideally have some knowledge of relevant Landlord and Tenant
  • Act, RICS and ARMA Guidelines and Regulations (basic/working)
  • Willingness to assist colleagues as required
  •  Excellent communication, in person, on the phone and in email
  • Desire to learn new systems & methods or working
