Senior Property Manager required for an interim assignment (two months)

Based Birmingham

Competitive day rate

Working for one of the UK's leading Property Management Adviser's, the appointed Property Manager will support a key client account based in the West Midlands. You will take immediate responsibility for the management of your own properties and projects.

Key responsibilities:

  • Providing high quality Property Management services
  • Liaising with the clients, their solicitors and tenants on a daily basis
  • Advising the client in respect of tenancy applications and controlling the licence process
  • Instructing and liaising with facilities managers and building consultants in respect of repairs and planned maintenance programmes
  • Carrying out regular property inspections
  • Management of Lease / Tenancy Schedules
  • Liaising with Facilities Managers in respect of service charge budgeting and reporting and undertaking regular service charge expenditure monitoring and reporting
  • Management of income arrears and recovery (supported by a dedicated credit controller), invoice approvals, setting up new properties, maintaining the property database, updating the Help-desk and Tramps, etc
  • Facilitating regular tenant meetings with strong occupier engagement skills

Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong experience within a commercial property management department with proven experience of directly reporting to property management clients

With a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, you will be able to manage lease events, rent reviews and expiry's, making recommendations on tenant applications. As this is an interim role, candidates must be available to start immediately, subject to interview. A full and clean driving licence is essential as travel is required with this role.
