Development Manager

Our client, a UK based private property company, is seeking to appoint a Development Manager to focus sourcing and acquiring land and potential schemes for commercial development throughout the Midlands.

The Opportunity 

This major investor is seeking to increase their activity throughout the Midlands region through the acquisition of land and potential investments for commercial development. Our client is not only a prominent, well-established operation with development and investment assets exceeding a £Billion but they possess the resources and expertise in-house to deliver schemes efficiently and of a complex, long term nature. 

The Objective 

As Development Manager, you will become an integral part of the UK development team, motivated to identify and acquire opportunities, to appraise schemes thoroughly to justify a business case and then manage those prospects through the planning and development process building value at all stages.

The Candidate required

For those involved in a job search at the moment, relevant candidates for this Development Manager opportunity require at least 3 years’ demonstrable (MRICS/RTPI qualified) experience in acquiring and processing commercial development land.  Day to day, your positive approach and credibility allow you to maintain and develop your contact base, enabling increased access into the marketplace.  Your motivation will clearly highlight you are a self-starter and a “doer”, well connected and full of motivation to source new opportunities.
