Job Details
I am currently partnering with a public sector organisation near Somerset, who are looking to recruit a Estates Surveyor on a six month fixed term contract, maternity cover post. This role will work within a small property function covering the full range of estates management work. Interviews will be arranged for week commencing the 21st September. Client Details
My client is a council near Somerset. They have adopted agile working, with only strictly necessary travel to look at properties. The rest of the work is remotely based.
Description
The key responsibilities would include:
- Landlord and tenant works
- Engaging with tenants and internal stakeholders
- Rent reviews
- Creating and monitoring rent plans and rent arrears
- Managing some high street developements / funding works
Profile
The ideal candidate would be:
- MRICS (although not essential)
- Have experience of Land lord and tenant and a full range of estates management experience
- Be comfortable working from home
- Be a good communicator
Job Offer
6 month contract initially. With local government pension. Salary from £36-42k depending upon experience. If of interest, please let me know.
