Job Details
Are you an experienced Development professional with 10 years + PQE? Are you ready to take a step up into a leadership role? This commercially focused role has responsibility for the development strategy, as well as providing leadership in terms of best practice and sustainability in line with green policies. You will manage a team of development professionals across a mix of developments, refurbishments and dilapidations.
In addition you will identify development opportunities and prepare appraisals and cash flows to demonstrate project viability in accordance with targets and coordinate the preparation of all Board Papers to secure capital approval for both speculative and pre-let schemes.
Create planning strategies and secure planning approvals that optimise the value of existing portfolio and new acquisitions, either by direct negotiations with planning authorities or via planning consultants.
Identify land acquisition opportunities through market and occupier contacts for input to the land acquisition strategy, coordinate the overall development process (from project brief to delivery) and manage the internal and external professional team including: architects, planning consultants, cost consultants, environmental consultants, engineers and project managers.
As a property professional you will be MRICS/MCIOB qualified and have experience in all aspects of the commercial property development process, as well as expertise in planning and construction procurement. Previous experience of leading and motivating teams would be advantageous, as is experience in Circle Developer appraisal software and other DCF techniques.
