About the Role

As Development / Technical Coordinator you will report directly to the Technical Director and work closely with the Pre-Construction Director, managing the technical process and ensuring effective collaboration across all the relevant stakeholders.

Your main responsibilities will include co-ordination of consultants and interrogation of architectural designs; support of the pre-contract application process; submission of building regulation/NHBC applications and securing all necessary consents to enable projects to commence; liaison and support of other departments with regard to providing technical information and resolving technical issues; office administration such as record keeping and filing drawings; attendance and contribution at office and site based technical/site/team meetings.


Personal Requirements

The successful candidate will have experience working in a similar role for an established volume residential developer or a regeneration specialist. 

Ideally you will be educated to HNC/HND level, or hold a Degree in a construction related course.  You will have excellent IT skills and have a detailed knowledge of the Building Regulations, CfSH, SBD and HQI Standards, the ability to use Autocad would be an advantage.  You will be organised, confident and possess excellent communication skills.  

A strong team player with excellent communication skills you will recognise the importance of developing good working relationships across departments and with external consultants.
