Permanent role in central Bristol for a Billing Assistant paying up to £24,500.
Client Details
Our client is based in central Bristol and they are currently recruiting for a Billing Assistant to join their Finance team. This permanent and exciting opportunity will give you a real insight into how exceptional finance professionals contribute to the smooth running of the business.
Description
As our Billing Assistant you will be getting involved in a number of different tasks, including but not limited to:
- Reviewing, editing and processing bills and credit notes in response to stakeholders requests in a timely manner.
- Responsibility for a number of Ebilling clients, to include the loading of bills, maintenance of the Ebilling platforms, and resolution of identified errors.
- Ensuring draft and final bills are issued in line with company policies and procedures and that all necessary approval authorities are obtained.
- Ensuring bills meet all legislative regulations, including HMRC VAT legislation, SRA Accounts Rules and Anti-Money Laundering requirements.
- Processing of WIP & disbursement write offs, transfers and adjustments.
- Managing a busy team mailboxes efficiently and effectively, and dealing with queries promptly as they arise.
- Ownership of a portfolio of centrally billed clients. You will be responsible for the co-ordination the monthly billing cycle for these clients, ensuring client specific billing requirements are met, bills are submitted in line with client deadlines and any queries are responded to effectively.
- Regular contact with legal team stakeholders, ensuring queries are responded to and the provision of a first class service.
- Assistance with the testing and implementation of new billing and charge rate related processes and systems
Profile
The successful Billing Assistant will be a customer focused individual with experience in an Ebilling/billing environment. An accountancy qualification is desireable but not essential
