A UK property consultancy is seeking a Senior Surveyor/Associate to join their London based Commercial Property and Asset Management team.

You will be responsible for managing a varied public sector portfolio in the home counties and will be covering aspects of estate, asset and property management. You will also be responsible for assisting in the management the London Commercial property team and improving the business's reputation within the market.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Arranging and assisting in inspections, raising invoice issues and liaising with tenants.
  • Preparing service charge budgets.
  • Rent collection, chasing rent arrears, rent reviews, lease renewals, identifying any asset management opportunities.
  • Ensuring all compliance and health and safety is up to date and implemented effectively.
  • Organising maintenance work, liaising with contractors.
  • Assist in the management and development of a team of property and asset managers to improve efficiency and business results.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven property or asset management experience - the candidate will ideally be MRICS qualified.
  • Effective relationship building and client management skills.
  • Team management and development.
  • Strong report writing abilities.
  • Previous use of TRAMPS property management system.
