Job Details

Senior Retail Surveyor – Central London

Our client, a highly regarded independent who specialise across multiple facets in commercial and residential property is looking to recruit.

Their residential division is well connected and they've successfully built relationships with developers for decades which has put some great foundations in place. Cross selling and collaboration is a big part of the businesses culture and this has allowed the commercial team to develop over the last 20 years.

Their commercial team is highly experienced and with seasoned professionals throughout they have delivered some fantastic work across this client base on mixed use developments working in the office and retail sector.

Following a strong year as a collective, they are looking to expand and this is a key strategic hire for them.

The position:

  • Registering new clients

  • Reading and summarising leases

  • Inspecting and measuring premises

  • Viewings and valuations

  • Team Management as the team evolves and grows

  • Training and Development of team members

  • Preparation of lease renewal and rent review pre negotiation reports for clients

  • Negotiating with landlords and their agents

  • Preparation of settlement reports for clients

  • Overseeing documentation of deals

  • Preparing Heads of Terms

  • Monitoring deals through the legal process

  • Preparation of reports for third party referral

  • Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently ensuring all deadlines are met

  • Maintains a positive attitude towards routine tasks

  • Accurate and exceptional attention to detail

Skills Required:

  • Commercial Retail property experience

  • MRICS Qualified advantageous but not essential

  • Excellent IT skills (Word, Excel, MS Outlook).

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
