If you have worked in affordable housing development before you will know the drill. It’s more important than ever. You are the person helping first time buyers and families onto the property ladder.
You’ll be based in East Sussex, not far from the coast. There’s plenty of good road links to the office as well as parking. You’ll be part of a small recently formed team, which means you will have full autonomy.
You will need to be an all-rounder development manager and be able to manage schemes from cradle to grave. This will include site acquisition, appraisals, and viability assessments through to project delivery. You need to be comfortable tendering and appointing build contractors. You will be required to pick up multiple schemes at different stages of the development cycle.
You will be joining a local authority development company with big ambitions to build. The focus will be small residential schemes of up to 30 units.
