German Speaking - Investment Associate

WSS are delighted to be working with a global leading Value-Add / Opportunistic Real Estate investor. Our client is looking to make a fluent German-speaking Investment Associate hire for their London office. With a newly closed fund and over £2bn of capital ready to deploy, they are looking to invest in Opportunistic and Value-Add Real Estate opportunities across the DACH region. An exceptional opportunity for a mid-level Real Estate professional.

​THE ROLE:

The role offers varied exposure across the activities of the Real Estate business including investment/execution, client marketing/origination, and investment management and reporting. The primary focus of the role is on supporting the execution of new global Real Estate assets and time spent on other activities will vary across the year.

As well as:

•Analyse Real Estate Investment Opportunities (EMEA and with a focus on DACH)•Execute Real Estate Investments

•Assist with Monitoring of Real Estate Investments & Assets (Asset Management)

•Marketing and relationship building

•Team participation

THE BACKGROUND:

•Candidates will possess 3-6 years’ experience in Investment Banking / Private Equity/Transaction Services/Financial Modelling teams

•Real Estate transactions and deals is a requirement

•Fluent German a requirement

•Sector experience (Hotels, Hospitality, Retail, Student Accommodation, Offices) is preferable

•Be proactive, with the ability to take on a high degree of responsibility and to execute critical workstreams with limited supervision

•Possess outstanding interpersonal skills and a strong team ethic

•Excellent oral and written communication skills

•Commercial acumen – ability and interest in analysing and comparing businesses

•All-round Real Estate experience
