One of the best known house builders is looking for an ambitious Land/Planning/Surveying Specialist to join a young and growing Land division. The position comes in a second in seniority to the Director and will aim to secure a number of acquisitions in the Oxford, Herts, North Surrey, Bucks, M1/M40 M3 corridor patch.

Main responsibilities:

• Follow leads and source land opportunities.
• negotiate and finalise lead deals with both landowners and agents.
• Effectively collaborate with external property contacts by establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders. This will include network with local authorities, local agents and land owners.
• Work closely with other departments internally therefore must have the attributes to work as part of a wider team with the Technical, Build, Sales and Finance teams to ensure the land acquisition process, management and delivery is effective.
• Appraise a site to establish land value and writing reports on your findings including preparation and collation of land acquisition packs for Main Board Approval.
• Good legal knowledge for acquisition contracts.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years experience in the land acquisition/town planning/developer planning/residential surveying role
• Knowledge of the patch area: Oxford / Herts / Bucks / Thames Valley region
• Must drive/have a car
