Commercial/Residential Property Manager

A family owned property business, based close to Twickenham, is currently looking for a Property Manager to join the their small but efficient property team. The portfolio includes let residential property, residential freehold block management, commercial retail and offices, garages, student lets and halls of residence, located across the south of England between Bournemouth, Canterbury and London. Most of the portfolio is managed by external managing agents who are local to the properties, all of whom are overseen and managed by London office.

Role & Duties:

• The role will report into the Head of Property and Directors regarding the management of the portfolio, providing instructions to agents re tenancy renewals, rent reviews, new lettings and repair/refurbishment works, service charge budgets, requests for consents for alterations, providing instructions as required to solicitors.
• Assisting with the production of a 3 year budget to plan capital expenditure and property acquisitions. Managing and chasing debtors.
• Monitoring the performance of the Companies external managing agents and addressing issues.
• Reporting and liaising with the Head of Property regarding arrears position, voids and ongoing management issues.
• The candidate does not need to necessarily be qualified but will require previous property management knowledge and experience, have great attention to detail and an ability to work independently. They will also be fully computer literate and experienced in the use of Microsoft Office including the use of Excel spreadsheets.

Interviews to take place w/c 25^th January 2021 with a view to starting in early February.
