Portfolio Manager (Retail) - Midlands (SD)

PSD are working with a national retail client who require a Chartered Surveyor to join the property team to take responsibility for a broad role including acquisitions, estate and asset management work.  This is a retail success story and the opportunities within the portfolio role is both store optimisation and growth. 

Managing a large retail portfolio you will be responsible for lease renewals, managing break options, lease re-gears, relocations, acquisitions and store closures.  Identifying and acquiring new sites in target locations is also part of this role.  You will be responsible for store performance appraisals and shaping property strategy and recommending actions to the Board.  You will oversee some property management elements to ensure retail premises trade effectively and liaise with external consultants to manage and challenge service charge and ratings appeals.

We are looking for Chartered Surveyors with retail estates management background, either working in another retail occupier or as an agent or consultant.  Asset Management, estates management and acquisitions experience desirable.  This is a largely field based role but candidates with easy access to the Midlands are at an advantage.
