Asset Manager – Industrial Portfolio, West Midlands

Hands on Asset Management role working for an extremely acquisitive Industrial and Logistics Fund, with ambitious plans to continually expand their AUM across the UK. They have an international commercial property portfolio and a very well respected and experienced team, and now need to further expand by bringing on an Asset Manager in the West Midlands.

Their ideal candidate will be MRICS, with 3 - 5 years relevant Asset Management experience, looking for a holistic and strategic role. Candidates need to understand how to really drive value from a portfolio, from the bottom up and take an asset by asset approach. The role will involve driving lettings campaigns, negotiating and re-gearing leases, liaising closely with tenants, implementing and delivering refurbishment projects and also working both autonomously and as part of an integrated team. They have a fast paced and fun working environment, where you’ll be part of a busy and ambitious team.

Requirements:

MRICS or a RICS accredited degree and commensurate industry experience

Up to five years’ experience in a relevant professional area, ideally as an Asset Manager in light industrial, retail or logistics real estate

A very numerate approach and a strong head for analysis and data  - you’ll be assisting senior asset managers with validating valuations and forward-looking financial projections.
