Senior Investment Analyst

Our client is a City based Investment Management fund with circa £800m AUM. They are looking for a Senior Real Estate Analyst to join their small , dynamic team.

Job summary

•  Develop and maintain financial models to support acquisition underwriting process, working closely with investment managers
• Provide financial modelling support to asset management team, with regards key assert decisions, such as lease re-gears, capex projects etc
• Perform complicated financial modelling and spreadsheet analysis in Excel
• Prepare clear concise summary documentation and spreadsheets that support and explain the basis of the analyses for use in presentations, proposals and reports
• Organize, research and present data analysis in appropriate form for internal and external use.
• Market research into economic background and local real estate dynamics related to potential acquisitions
• Coordinate with due diligence and asset management teams throughout the acquisition process
• Complete special projects and other additional duties as assigned

Skills

• Analytical with mathematical flair
• Articulate and ability to present financial outcome to senior managers and investors
• Although not a prerequisite, speaks a second language
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and maybe Argus
• Ability to quickly develop advanced skill level on the job
• Ideally, some understanding of financial mathematics, including time value of money,discounted cashflow
• Ability to prepare Powerpoint presentations
