Senior / Commercial Manager – East Midlands – Housebuilder – Basic salary to £75,000

About the Client

An established and privately owned house builder who develop a mixed portfolio of schemes across the East Midlands and into Nottinghamshire. They produce good-quality, family homes. The business has a strong market brand as well as a solid forward land bank. Prior to the pandemic they were producing between 100 – 150 units per annum. Whilst these numbers slightly dropped during 2020, they intend to return and then exceed their pre-COVID unit numbers during 2021 / 2022.  

About the role:

Reporting to the Managing Director you will head up all commercial activities whilst being accountable for a proven team of professionals.

Your duties will include the accurate projection of costs for all feasibility projects for land purchase, advising on house types and site layout profitability, coordinating the work and controlling the fees of external consultants and delivering developments in line with budgets.

What we are looking for:

You will be solutions driven, a first-class communicator, an effective negotiator and a strategic thinker who is committed to the development and training of the commercial team. It is essential you have working knowledge of current Building Regulations and NHBC standards.
