Warwickshire Property and Development Company (WPDC) is a new commercial venture that will play a leading role in shaping and regenerating Warwickshire. Set up by, and working closely with, Warwickshire County Council, it will deliver mixed-use regeneration programmes that will have a positive economic and social impact. Our goal is to drive development and economic prosperity within Warwickshire for the next 50 years, so the right Board and Leadership team is essential to getting off on the right foot. As such, we are looking to recruit to a series of roles within the new organisation.

Working closely with the Chair, our Non-Executive Directors will provide additional knowledge and insight from a career within property, development, and regeneration. Whilst you may not have previously held a non-executive position, you will understand the role of a Board and you will be able to articulate the value it provides to an organisation.

Specifically, you will be able to articulate the value you can provide to the Board and to the organisation. Our Non-Executive Directors will need to compliment the skill set of our Chair, of each other, and provide challenge and rigour to the organisation and its executive officers. As such, we are looking for a Non-Executive Director with experience in development. Someone who has led or run large development programmes for commercial developers or housing associations. Whether your experience is specifically within house building, commercial and industrial development, or retail, you will understand the full development cycle and be able to provide support and challenge to the company’s leadership team.
