Investment Management Analyst

Joining an innovative investment fund with a focus on the real estate sector and a digital platform connecting institutional and semi-professional investors with property developers.

They are currently expanding their footprint in Europe and are in need of proficient support. Their team is agile, highly professional and combines people with excellent professional backgrounds.

This what you can expect:

  • Working with senior investment team members to source for and evaluate investment opportunities
  • Supporting research and analysis of real estate deals / companies / sector and conducting due diligence
  • Constantly developing and renewing knowledge on industry / sectoral trends, and keeping up to date with latest macro-economic conditions and relevant regulations
  • Reviewing and preparing investment documents (e.g. investment memos, IC pitches, reporting, etc.)
  • Supporting growth of the digital investment platform
  • Assisting the management team in growing the business through developing and maintaining relationships with external intermediaries and counterparties

Requirements:

  • Recent graduate from a top-tier university (minimum 2:1 or equivalent) AND / OR 1-2 years of experience in a global management consulting firm, big four firm (consulting or transaction advisory departments), or a front-office role in an investment bank, private equity / debt fund or real estate advisory firm (transaction advisory position in CBRE, JLL, Savills, Knight Frank, Colliers, etc.) necessary
  • Pronounced interest in financial topics and the real estate sector
  • Strong communication skills: ability to articulate opinions effectively in English, both verbally and in written form
  • Analytical and structured way of thinking and working; ability to identify key investment considerations and risks
  • Attention to detail, intellectual curiosity and strong research capabilities
  • Well organised with excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple, concurrent priorities
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and proactivity to drive things forward
  • Good team player with strong ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to perform tasks independently and strong sense of initiative
  • Very good MS-Office knowledge
