About the Client: 

An established and award-winning National Housebuilder with offices throughout the UK. Due to expansion they are looking to recruit an Urban Designer in their East Midlands office. 

About the Role: 

You will report directly to the Technical Director working closely as a ‘no.2’. Deputising when required including management and board meetings.

  • Day to day management of the department, running the technical meeting and attending engineering and architectural meetings
  • Involvement in pre development layouts
  • Improving current layouts and liaising with the technicians on this element
  • Responsible for a number  of sites to potentially run from a design prospective

What we’re looking for:   

A hands-on Urban Designer professional with experience in the Residential Development sector. You will be able to demonstrate a successful track record of managing internal and external consultants to deliver practical and visually pleasing places where people feel proud to live.
