Disposals Surveyor (MRICS) - Clientside - Midlands

Major West Midlands owner / operator have need for an additional Chartered Surveyor (F/MRICS) to join the team.

This hire will be to aid in the disposals of the organisations significant redundant properties / land, predominantly around the wider Midlands region. This post covers a range of activities all seeking to maximise the value of the company’s surplus portfolio. This will include identifying and reviewing properties/land/opportunities, undertaking due diligence, engaging with the wider organisation, assessing approaches from 3rd parties and managing the transfers to other group companies. The role will involve short and long term financial planning, working to outlined targets for direct property disposals. The successful applicants will be involved a true mix of work and be exposed to a huge variety of property types, from the single/small plots to considerable, strategic sites. This role will enhance your disposal skills, with the opportunity to gain real insight into town and country planning and property development. 

It is vitally important that you have strong organisational and Excel skills, are a natural communicator with a distinct confidence, have an appetite to work across a range of asset types and a willingness to learn new skills. The role would suit a MRICS qualified surveyor who has a background in commercial agency or general property transactions.
