Managing Director – Commercial & Residential Developer (PH)

Our client is a privately owned developer and operator who have a long history of delivering multiple projects ranging in value from £5m to £50m.  The business employs 85 people across land & planning, sales, business development, design, construction, commercial & finance

The client is currently seeking a Managing Director to take control of the Construction and Development teams, responsible for acquisition, development and disposal of quality developments, as well as creating a developer contractor business.

Key Responsibilities will be:

• Land Identification
• Land Appraisal
• Land Acquisition
• Construction and Development of all projects
• Full Development process including management of financial performance
• Leading and motivating team
• Ensuring a safe environment in terms of Health & Safety
• Building trusted relationships with partnering clients
• Involvement with fund-raising
• Creating a Developer Contractor business

Experience & Skills Required:

• Experienced senior development professional
• Background in land, development or construction
• Experienced in residential development and/or commercial/mixed use development
• Track record of running teams and getting the best out of them
• Experienced working at board level
• Understanding of full development cycle including finance, planning and appraisal
• Personality and vision to be able to present the business as a developer contractor
