Project Manager – In House Property Company – London – £50,000 - £60,000 Per Annum
Immediate In House Project Management opportunity working for a leading Property Company in London. The role is offering up to £60,000 per Annum.
Job Role:
· Complete existing as well as plan and coordinate a sequence of new projects from start to finish, including organising the tendering, schedule of work and costings to a firm budget
· Plan the work and oversee the buying of necessary services, materials and equipment
· Manage consultants and co-ordinate with in house maintenance staff and property management for the projects
· Manage the works areas on a day-to-day basis, including overseeing the supervising of the in house team, monitoring subcontractors, checking materials, inspecting work and overseeing quality control
· Ensure the project is delivered on time and on budget by setting benchmarks, agreeing budgets and monitoring progress
· Check design documents with architects, surveyors and engineers
· Promote and maintain health and safety, including site inspections to ensure safety rules are being followed
· Maintain regular communication and attend meetings with colleagues, clients and their representatives to inform them of progress on the project, i.e. stakeholder management
· Communicate with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and others involved in the project
Skills:
· Strong communication skills
· Liaising with a wide range of professional colleagues, external professionals and maintenance/works personnel based on site
· Liaising with customers as all works are undertaken with clients on site and services operational
· Ability to motivate your direct team and colleagues to ensure a high standard of work and performance
· Monitoring project plans and schedules and utilising time and resources effectively
· Ability to make decisions under pressure, so that the project can progress
· Strong attention to detail for conducting site inspections and managing complex contracts
· Awareness of health and safety procedures and legislation - for running a safe construction site
· Knowledge of relevant building methods and project management software to manage information and finances during the project
· Must be available to start immediately
