Construction Director, Privately Owned Developer

Role As Construction Director you will be responsible for approximately five major residential-led developments, including tall buildings, complex structures and in some instances traditional construction. You will be involved from acquisition, developing the programme, assessing buildability and helping to identify and iron out any early-stage problems. You will then define and lead the team responsible for the project via the typical on-site structure (PM’s, Site Managers etc,) ensuring that the scheme us delivered safely, on programme, on budget and to quality. As a member of the senior management team, you will also work closely with the other directors to ensure that the business is as successful as possible.

Company My client is a significant, residential-led developer who undertake a broad range of challenging projects across Greater London and the Home Counties. The business is now ready to take the next stage in its evolution and growth, with this role playing a big part in this. Projects can be in excess of 600 units, multi-phased and of various types of construction. The company is highly entrepreneurial, able to acquire sites quickly and fast track development.

Person We seek to appoint a highly capable, residential focussed construction professional who is either already at director level or ready to take the step up. You are experienced in working with major projects and with a wide range of construction methods including RC frame and cladding systems. You have excellent leadership skills, are robust, detail focussed, live and breathe H&S and able to deliver great projects.
