New Business Development Manager (Affordable Housing /Partnership Contracting)

Role 
As New Business Development Manager you will be responsible for developing relationships with Housing Associations, Local Authorities, and other similar organisations where there is a requirement for residential-led regeneration projects to be undertaken. The client has identified where the requirements will be over the next few years, and your role will be to develop a relationship with the interested parties, assessing if the project is one that meets the commercial/capability criteria of the business. Key to the role is the ability to firstly create this relationship, develop a strong understanding of the requirements, then using your skills to identify early, if the project is one that is suitable for further investigation.

Company
A significant developer/contractor, operating across London and working in partnership with a wide range of organisations. They already have an enviable track record for their work and as a partner of choice, this role will play a key role in maintaining this. The business is looking to significantly increase its workload and develop new relationships.  

Person
We are keen to identify an intelligent, professional, and personable individual who enjoys developing relationships on a B2B basis. You MUST have experience of working within the housing sector and have a strong understanding of construction process, which gives you the ability to assess projects against business criteria. As well as business development professionals we are keen to consider technical or commercial candidates who would like to consider a new career path that utilises their skills.
