An exciting position has arisen in the Asset Management team to provide advice and make recommendations relating to the day-to-day asset management of the council's housing portfolio. The role will include the performance management of housing stock utilising housing asset data together with the creation of accurate planning and financial forecasts.

The portfolio comprises over 4,500 homes across East Suffolk. The portfolio also includes small-scale development opportunities.

The council operates from two principal locations: Lowestoft and Melton. There is flexibility in where this position will be based, with a requirement to travel throughout the district as well as some home working.

You will have a range of experience and must have the following attributes:

* Member status with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors or equivalent.

* At least 3 years' relevant post qualification experience.

* Extensive, recent experience in the professional property environment.

* Be self-motivated and resourceful, able to work to agreed targets within a commercial environment.
