Job Details

Our client is a rapidly growing property company that purchase, restructure and develop income-generating property assets. They specialise in purpose-built student accommodation, micro-flats, co-living, hostels and hotels.

They have recently been involved in £350m of deals with a number of projects in a pipeline. They are uniquely positioned to take advantage of current market uncertainty and are exceptionally well financed. They are in highly acquisitive mode with a strong determination to grow the business through further acquisitions.

Their success is dependent on their high-calibre team. They have fostered a culture of constant improvement, in which every member of the team strives to learn and develop, both individually and together.

They are seeking a high-calibre property analyst with 2-4 years previous experience to join their dynamic team. You will apply a proactive and innovative approach to deal analysis, property sourcing and general due diligence. You will report to the Managing Director, and will have day to day interaction with the wider company, Founders and development team.

Key skills:

  • Applicants should have two to four years previous experience in a similar role, with a proven track record in the Greater London property market.
  • Minimum of 2.1 from a reputable university (ideally also Masters qualified).
  • Currently working in either central London residential property, build to rent, co-living or student accommodation sector.
  • Self-starter who can demonstrate the ability to work independently, and as part of a wider team.
  • Strong IT and presentation skills.
  • Previous experience and understanding of the planning application and appeals process.
  • Detailed knowledge and experience in financial modelling of a range of property assets;
  • A strong network of relevant contacts in the property industry.
  • A proactive, tenacious and ambitious attitude is required.
  • You'll thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing, highly rewarding environment.

As Acquisitions Analyst, you will:

  • Source, analyse and report on potential acquisitions;
  • Take responsibility for registering the introduction of opportunities and then tracking deals;
  • Work across teams in many cases, thinking creatively in identifying opportunities using various technology tools;
  • Provide assistance to the Directors in the due diligence process of any new acquisitions;
  • Take responsibility for managing and presenting the deals at weekly meetings;
  • Provide market/investment analysis input to the wider team as and when needed;
  • Build relationships with property owners, agents and other professional firms and across the business;
  • Attend site visits and regularly engage with owners/agents/lawyers.
