Superb opportunity to join a collaborative and entrepreneurial Real Estate Private Equity fund. Role primarily focused on residential asset management in the UK, working with in-house residential operating business. Fund backed by a broad range of institutional investors from the across the UK & Europe.

Role particulars:

As Fund Manager with a focus on Residential, you will be assisting in executing and managing investments within the residential sector across the UK.. You will be one of the key points of contact, our affiliated residential management and leasing company, and will take lead in managing the relationships.

 

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

•           Leading the asset management of a UK multifamily portfolio

•           Overseeing the execution of asset-level business plans, ensuring they are implemented according to the original underwriting and the respective requirements and restrictions

•           Preparing and assisting in updating, maintaining and reviewing a wide variety of financial models, cash flows, development and operating budgets, primarily in Excel

•           Preparing and co-ordinating financial reporting, bank covenant analysis and investor information requirements

•           Assisting in the determination of the financial viability of refurbishment projects as well as coordinating reporting of refurbishment works progress

•           Onboarding of new acquisitions into the existing investment portfolios

•           Contributing to presentations and strategic analysis prepared for investors

•           Monitoring project and fund compliance with regulatory requirements

•           Preparing and reviewing timely asset management reports

•           Preparing regular investment reports and risk assessments of investments

•           Executing corrective measures when early warning signs exist on asset performance issues

•           Conducting local market data compilations and supporting the due diligence for residential sector specific real estate acquisitions and developments

•           Contributing information for investment presentations, memos, reports and other materials for internal and external communication

Requirements include:

•           Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required; Master's degree in business, finance or real estate investment preferred

•           Ten or more years of work experience in real estate investment/real estate asset management/real estate finance/real estate private equity; hotel and student housing sector experience considered

•           Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Knowledge of Yardi is a plus

•           Deep understanding of the conceptual framework of real estate investment and development, and the fundamentals of the residential sector

•           Highly numerate with strong financial and analytical skills and strong familiarity with financial models and accounting statements

•           Accurate under time pressure and exceptional attention to and care for detail in all work

•           Ability to handle multiple tasks and to meet deadlines

•           Knowledge of secondary UK markets and ability to travel when required

•           Pro-active, self-motivated and adept at using own initiative

•           Confident fluency in written and spoken English
