A multi-disciplined surveying practice based in the Cambridgeshire area, is looking for an Assistant Facilities Manager to join the team. The role will focus on a mixed portfolio of. Retail, Offices and Industrial assets across Cambridge, London, Essex and East Anglia. The role can be based from home, with one day in the Cambridgeshire office and the business is also open to somebody working part time, 3-4 days per week. You will be responsible for Hard and Soft facilities management, as well as planned and preventative maintenance. You will play a vital role in the development of the facilities management offering within the company as they seek to grow their portfolio of national clients. 

  • Contract management
  • Procurement of planned and reactive contractors
  • Regular site inspections
  • Overall responsibility for each building's fabric and facilities
  • Assist with setting up and managing service charge budgets
  • Dealing with insurance claims
  • Meeting and liaising with tenants and any concerns they may have
  • Minor project management works
Skills & Experience:
  • IOSH Qualified
  • NEBOSH, preferred but not essential
  • Experience in Commercial Facilities Management
  • Strong communication skills
