Liveable Exeter is Exeter City Council’s transformational housing delivery and place making programme – seeking to deliver up to 12,000 new homes on urban brownfield sites within the city over the course of the next 20 years – and the Council is working hard to turn this vision in to near-term reality.

We are now seeking to recruit a highly experienced and motivated Senior Programme Manager to work as part of the Liveable Exeter programme team. Reporting to the Programme Director, you will bring a wealth of practical project management experience gained from working in a built environment specialism and have a demonstrable track-record of the successful delivery of complex and innovative projects. You will be responsible for taking the day to day lead on some of the Liveable Exeter projects, driving progress and working with a diverse range of stakeholders and partners in order to help realise the Liveable Exeter vision. You will be responsible for the direct line management for other members of staff within the Liveable Exeter team and have the opportunity to work with a wide range of colleagues within the Council, and partner organisations, in order to help bring the Liveable Exeter vision to life.
