Commercial Asset Manager - Iconic London Scheme

Madison Berkeley are thrilled to be working with one of London’s most ambitious and innovative development companies. They now have a unique opportunity for someone to take responsibility for Commercial (Retail and Office) Asset Management set up across a truly iconic site. This role will help shape and deliver Asset Management across the estate with the support of the existing management team. The role involves setting up the Asset Management procedures and processes across the site, onboarding new occupiers and managing all aspects of the relationship with the new tenants to optimise and drive value, and ensuring the onboarding process is efficient and successful. They are in a good place compared to other London Estates, there are no legacy issues relating to covid, and the leasing team have had a lot of success. As it’s a brand new role someone will really be able to make it their own, taking responsibility and credit for successes.

Requirements

• MRICS with a minimum of two years transferrable experience in an Asset Management role, ideally on a London Estate / Development
• Proven asset management skills – experience in rent reviews, lease renewals, lease re-gears and delivering value accretive asset management opportunities
• Experience of successfully building relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
• Experience in identifying opportunities to add value and executing on transactions to deliver against targets of asset financial outperformance
• Awareness of occupier needs and market trends
• Numerically astute with an analytical approach
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• An understanding of property development and construction processes would be beneficial
