Brand new Asset Management role working for an extremely well capitalised international Private Equity firm, who have a focus on Industrial and Logistics. They have a well established and rapidly growing portfolio in well located regions across the UK, and due to growth now need an additional Asset Manager to drive the portfolio forwards. Their business model allows them to acquire opportunistic sites as well as up-and-built assets across the UK market, and the team have a successful track record of consistently delivering strong returns from their UK portfolio. They are looking for a experienced and hands on Asset Manager, with experience re-gearing leases, driving lettings campaigns, running refurbishments projects and a strong track record building and maintaining effective tenant relationships. Candidates need circa 3 – 5 years experience, and must have worked in the Industrial sector as an Asset Manager already.

Role

  • Asset Management of a growing portfolio of last mile and city infill Industrial and Logistics property across the UK
  • Developing and implementing value-add strategies for assets in the portfolio
  • Co-ordination of leasing, development, marketing and asset performance
  • Managing the leasing process and marketing programmes
  • Managing third party service providers including property managers, leasing agents and lawyers
  • Engage proactively with tenants and create meaningful partnerships
  • Formulating detail and forecasting for annual business plans across each asset
  • Constantly review property and project budgets against underwritten financial plans

Requirements

  • MRICS qualified with circa 3-5 years post qualified experience
  • Previous Asset Management experience from an Industrial & Logistics background is essential
  • A good understanding of Landlord & Tenant Legislation and the ability to translate into occupational scenarios
  • Strong communication ability and demonstratable negotiation skills
  • Understanding of property investment and development principles and key drivers
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
