Job Details
A crucial part of the site acquisition and ongoing financial appraisal of this developer's schemes, this role provides internal, actionable and research driven development sales advice to the Land & Planning team and wider Commercial Directorate.
Specifically, through the production of comparable based scheme pricing recommendations and supporting Board level research reports; framing all recommendations within the context of operational business need including driving sales rates, revenue targets and profit margins.
As part of the Sales & Marketing team, you will be responsible for setting the launch pricing in agreement with the Head of Residential Research, Sales Manager and Sales & Marketing Director, as schemes come to the market. After launch and working with the Sales Manager you will monitor the performance of sales against the pricing strategy ensuring the pricing remains competitive and maximises profit at all times. At the end of the scheme the role produces a wrap up report pulling together the lessons learnt across the Sales & Marketing department.
Key skills and qualifications:
- Educated to Degree standard or equivalent in Real Estate, Geography or Economics
- Experience of working within a target driven environment for a large UK house-builder and/or property developer, New Homes Estate Agency, Development Consultancy, RICS Chartered Surveyors
- Demonstrable experience and knowledge of the property industry and market trends.
- Demonstrable experience of collating data and creating well written, factual reports for management purposes utilising technology such as Word/Excel/Power Point
