Asset Manager - Southern Europe

The Oyster Partnership have been retained by a leading European Real Estate Investment Manager in their search for an Asset Manager to cover the Southern European market.

With nearly £11bn in AUM this organisation is one of the leading private equity real estate platforms operating in Europe today. The business is at an exciting stage in its evolution and is currently looking to hire an Asset Manager at Associate Director level to focus, primarily, on managing assets within Spain and Italy.

This individual will ideally be based in London, working on their Southern European portfolio, with some exposure to other geographical areas in Europe too. Candidates will need circa 7 years Real Estate experience in either Investment or Asset Management and are likely to have worked across multiple asset classes. This asset management role is extremely broad and candidates will be involved in all parts of the property life cycle; from interacting with deal teams at acquisition, undertaking due diligence and business plan formation, having responsibility for delivering business plans for a portfolio across Spain/Italy and assisting with the development and execution of exit strategies.

Requirements:

·       Fluency in Spanish is essential with knowledge of the property markets in Spain’s major cities.

·       Circa 7 years industry experience, with recent experience in an Investment or Asset Management role.

·       Solid analytical skills and good financial modelling knowledge.

·       Commercial Real Estate experience.

·       Experience of managing core plus and value-add assets across Spain.

·       Heavy involvement in the acquisition process and driving value creation.

Salary:

• Up to £100,000 + Package
