Job Details
A midlands based authority is looking for someone to work as part of the Council’s property team specifically responsible for undertaking annual asset valuations for capital accounting purposes. You will manage information flow between the Council’s finance and property departments and the Council’s external valuers, ensuring that the valuers have clear instructions and that they have what they need to undertake valuations promptly. You will also be required to undertake “Check & Challenge” in respect of selected valuations undertaken by external valuers. Candidates must have previous experience of reports and valuations of land and property (PPE) for accounting purposes in accordance with RICS Red Book, IFRS and CIPFA guidance and regulations.
This is a six month contract with immediate start and attractive daily rates.
