An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced project manager to work on one of the most high profile capital investment projects that the Council has been involved in for many years – helping deliver the Wrexham Gateway Masterplan – a £90 million investment programme.

You will manage the delivery of the masterplan on behalf of the Wrexham Gateway Partnership, which brings together the Council, the Welsh Government, Wrexham Glyndwr University and Transport for Wales.

Delivery of the Wrexham Gateway Masterplan will transform the gateway into Wrexham town centre, regenerate Wrexham General Station, linking to the planned improvement in rail connectivity and active travel schemes. It will also maximise the regional impact of the Racecourse Stadium, ensuring that it is capable of hosting competitive international sport, provide a new multi storey car park located on Glyndwr University Campus and lever investment to create a hotel, conference, exhibition space.

You must have significant experience of working on major construction projects, with multiple partners and land owners and have experience of managing wide stakeholder interests.
