Our client is a family office, dealing with both UK and overseas real estate investment and development opportunities across commercial, residential and alternative sectors. They are responsible for all parts of the investment process from origination and arrangement of finance through to asset or development management and finally disposal.

Their Asset Management team is the life-blood of their business; they have a detailed and enthusiastic approach to managing their assets and managing their broader consulting teams is what drives the value.

They are looking for an experienced Asset & Development Manager to join their team who will asset manage a diverse portfolio of assets with a focus on income-producing assets which have a planning, development or refurbishment angle.  In addition, you will be able to assist in the origination and evaluation of new acquisitions and they will look to you for an experienced view on the potential to re-position potential acquisitions.

You will lead the day-to-day asset management of your portfolio and will be responsible for delivering the business plan with the support of the wider team.  A key focus will be developing, analysing, and implementing value-add asset management strategies including lease renewals and regears as well as repositioning assets through planning, refurbishment or development. They encourage Asset Managers to think strategically to create a vision for the scheme and a business plan to realise this vision. 

Candidate Background:

•            A minimum of 5 years’ experience of both asset management and development management.

•            RICS qualification preferable but not essential.

•            Minimum 2:1 undergraduate degree preferable but not essential.

•            Experience working for family offices is preferable but not essential.

•            Candidate must be numerate and familiar with MS Excel.

This role is an excellent opportunity for a detailed, hands-on individual who takes pride in the performance of their assets and can utilise their relevant experience to deliver a meaningful contribution to the business.
