The role in the nutshell:

Would you feel comfortable leading a Councils property department, provide senior level leadership, manage projects, staff as well as external contractors.

Review and implement processes, be responsible for identifying and securing a flow of major capital receipts and generating new revenue streams.

Creating strategies to restructure, develop, expand, and manage the entire commercial property portfolio – both operational and non-operational sites. 

Identify and deliver property and land acquisitions & disposals within prescribed timescales.

Help fund the Council’s capital programme needs, dealing and liaising as necessary with the Cabinet, Executive Directors, Service Departments and the community.
