About the Client
A highly profitable privately owned house builder who produce more than 100 units per annum throughout Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire and Northern Hertfordshire. They have a proven team of land buyers who are very active in the market, securing off market developments wherever possible. Historically, the Land Director has been accountable for the acquisition of strategic sites however this is no longer viable given the speed by which they are growing. As such, they are looking to appoint a Strategic Land & Planning Manager who can take control of all long-term strategic land / option agreements.
About the role:
Reporting to the Land Director you will work independently and be responsible for acquiring strategic land throughout the counties mentioned above. You will take the commercial lead on all ‘strategic’ acquisitions whilst also being accountable for cash flows and profitability, translating this into board reports.
Land should be a minimum of three to four acres (100 to 150 units) however larger brownfield schemes i.e., 1,000 units, will also be considered if they are commercially viable.
What We're Looking for:
Experience of securing strategic land for a house builder / strategic land promoter and promoting sites through the planning process, as well as knowledge of the strategic land markets surrounding Bedfordshire are essential.
This is a very exciting opportunity to join a financially secure growing developer.
