Job Details

Experienced Investment Professional sought by one of the UK’s leading BTR teams for a Fund Management / Assistant Fund Management role. They are looking for a senior person, with a strong track record in the UK or International Residential / Resi Alternatives markets such as Student Accommodation, Senior Living, Hotels or BTR/PRS. The team are very well capitalised and have a variety of new product lines under consideration, and need someone with strong strategic experience to help determine future direction as well as being able to support the head of the team on the day to day management of their portfolio’s. Candidates must have worked with institutional capital or private equity money already and be used to large and complex deals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the design and implementation of BTR Strategy
  • Work closely within the development and transaction team to support investment underwriting and guide acquisitions to meet fund strategy
  • Research, analysis, credit, modelling and due diligence around investment acquisitions and manage the process of deploying capital
  • Assist in preparations and presentation of the Annual Fund Strategy
  • Successfully present to and influence policy holders at regional and national level

Requirements

  • MRICS and excellent academics with at least 7 years PQE experience
  • Investment experience from a clientside organisation – ideally a Fund, an Investment Manager, a RE PE firm or a Bank
  • An innovative approach to identifying and implementing ways of releasing value from existing assets
  • Residential or Residential Alternatives expertise is essential
  • High investment acumen and the potential to drive growth across new product lines
  • Some fund management experience highly desirable
  • Strong marketing and presentational skills
