Hilldale Housing Association provides high-quality housing to people who need additional support. We strive to ensure that our residents can live their lives as independently as they are able, with support that is tailored around their needs. We manage around 950 homes in total across a wide geographical area, from the North-West (where Hilldale was founded in 2009) to the South-East. In Nov 2020 we became part of the Change Housing Group.
Our Board helps to shape the strategic direction of our organisation, ensuring that sustainable business growth enables us to extend and diversify our offering to customers, and that we manage risk effectively. We look to our Board Members to bring a breadth of experience and perspective to what we do, alongside specific professional expertise that can add value to our work.
We are now looking for a highly capable individual with leadership experience in asset / property management who shares our values and commitment to supporting people to live independently. It’s an ideal opportunity for you to invest your skills on behalf of others, and to develop your professional expertise in a different setting. We expect that you will already have experience of committee work and that you have a good awareness of the role of good governance in social housing or care settings. A collaborative, openminded approach will ensure that you fit in well with our Board, and you’ll bring a positive and inquisitive perspective to strategic discussions – often on complex issues.
