Job Details

Macdonald & Company are working with a National Consultancy who are looking for a Valuer to join the business. This will be a fee earning role and report into the Director of the Valuations team. As well as the traditional mixed commercial portfolio the business set themselves aside from their competitors by also valuing specialist properties including, Healthcare premises, hotels, educational assets and motor trade sites. The role will include secured lending, development appraisal, asset/tax and expert witness valuations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • You will take on, manage, and develop a fee earning workload to meet and exceed the target agreed each year
  • Produce Pension Scheme Valuations, Enfranchisement Valuations and Charity Valuations
  • Work in accordance with and living the cultural values of the business
  • Undertake existing instructions, maintaining client relationships, keeping them updated on reports and developing new business
  • Business Generation and client facing business activity will be a requirement as well as cross-selling, and lead to promotion opportunities within the business.
About You:
  • MRICS Qualified and RICS Registered Valuer
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Be able to prioritise and manage work/caseloads
  • Strong communication and written skills
