A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Environmental Consultant/Senior Consultant to join a leading independent consultancy in their London office. This company have a national network of offices, across which the environmental team operate as one business unit. This organisation has a number of complementary disciplines, including town planning and infrastructure, and this position offers the opportunity to work closely with these teams offering a national service to an impressive client base.

The role is within the Environmental/Infrastructure team, and it has arisen due to continued work opportunities in a wide range of sectors; in particular, renewable energy and infrastructure. The firm have a supportive and inclusive team culture with a strong emphasis on personal growth and progression, emphasised by their company-wide profit share scheme.

Consequently, they are seeking an experienced Consultant/Senior Consultant to be a key part of the team and deliver environmental, health & wellbeing, socio-economic and sustainability advice at both strategic and project levels. You will ideally be RTPI or IEMA qualified and have strong technical knowledge of the planning system, SA/plan promotion and impact assessments (particularly EIAs), ideally gained within a consultancy. The successful candidate must be commercially-minded and motivated to become a leader in their field. In return, the firm will provide you with an excellent development programme, enabling you to work with a diverse range of clients from the onset and aiding you in your career progression. You must hold a full UK driving licence.

In regards to remuneration, the successful candidate will receive a competitive basic salary, car/car allowance (at senior level), bonus (profit share scheme), 5% pension, life assurance, paid subs and a range of flexible benefits, including dental insurance and a holiday buy & sell scheme (5 days). There is also flexibility with home-working, however you will ideally work 3 days in the office per week.
