About the Role:
As Strategic Land Manager you will head up all strategic land acquisitions, identifying profitable development sites across Somerset, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, South Worcestershire, and West Oxfordshire. You will play an important part in ensuring that the business has land in place to satisfy the business plan. Developments range from 100 units to sites of over 500 units. The business takes a long-term view and will buy sites that may take a number of years to reach their development potential. The business is entrepreneurial, exceptionally well-funded and has quick approval processes which gives them a competitive advantage.
What we’re looking for:
You are an experienced Strategic Land Manager working for another housebuilder or in agency. You have an excellent network within the region and are able to leverage off this network to identify and secure the best opportunities. You are a team-player with a can-do attitude who is prepared to “get out and about” to source opportunities. You have a demonstrable track record of acquiring sites and have a profit rather than volume focus
My client will also consider individuals who wish to relocate to the area and who can evidence a strong track record of land acquisition.
