Historic Royal Palaces (HRP) is a team of people who love and look after six of the most wonderful palaces in the world. We create space for spirits to stir and be stirred.

HRP requires a Property Management professional with strong contract drafting and landlord and tenant act knowledge to advise and support colleagues at all levels on all aspects of property related matters across the HRP estate.

This is an opportunity for a determined and driven individual to make a mark and evolve our approach to this area in terms of our management internally and with our third party partners, tenants, licensees and stakeholders.

This will include reviewing records keeping requirements and modernising our approach to better use technology in order to provide management data to key stakeholders in a seamless and timely manner.

This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of HRP as we bounce back from the effects of the global pandemic, and ensure our commercial interests and potential within the property area are realised.

A wide variety of work is available ranging from negotiating property leases, simpler accommodation licences, advising on tenant and disputes, ensuring premises licences are in place / renewed, developing a stakeholder management plan and business rates advice to name but a few areas.

Within HRP you will be part of a team comprising two Procurement Managers plus the HRP Head of Procurement and Contracts.

Strong planning skills, stakeholder management, commercial awareness and a flexible approach to ensure all procurement and contracting activity goes smoothly and achieves value for money will be needed.

You will have the opportunity to work flexibly (to include a measure of home working and Hampton Court Palace or HM Tower of London as a base) and as a result need to be able work self-sufficiently.

Ideally you will be MRICS qualified, but this is not essential if deep practical experience can be demonstrated.

Closing date: 23.55pm on 31st October 2021
