Job Details

A morning commute into The City is possibly the most Monday part of any weekday.

You’re flung into the day at the sharp, aggressive ring of your alarm. After a quick shower, (and for the sake of this advert it’s a cold shower), you throw on some clothes and into the smog you go.

Oh and it’s raining. Heavily. And you’ve forgotten your umbrella.

A packed tube carriage full of strangers you’ve spent the last 18 months trying to avoid, followed by a lukewarm Pret coffee made with tragically flavourless beans.

And that’s before the day’s even begun.

I’m here to tell you that these days are behind you. Particularly if you are a Planning Manager in the Buckinghamshire area. What if you could get the same enjoyment of a Planning Manager role at one of the most successful regional developers, but without the age old rat race.

This role, set in leafy Buckinghamshire, will see you working on some truly exciting projects in the South East, with the company acquiring ambitious and complex sites on a regular basis.

This developer boasts a prominent reputation in the South East, and is looking for a Planning Manager to join their team and hit the ground running in their ever expanding Planning team. With a team made up of individuals with the best experience in the business, it’ll truly be a dynamic that will enable you to flourish professionally.

A proven track record of managing strategic land acquisition from inception through to delivery will really set you apart with the role acting as a key figure of support to the Land team, but this client is open to speaking with a determined MRTPI / MRICS Planner with a stellar attitude to fully embrace this exciting opening in the team.

With their Land team expanding, this has generated a new pipeline of projects and a need for a talented Planning Manager to come and tackle with a fresh set of eyes. With sites often being of a complex nature, they have high standards – a testament to their monumental growth and success. What better time to join the team at such a pivotal point in the industry?

Your first few months would see you gaining new depths of knowledge on their processes, managing new projects on your own and aligning yourself with the group strategy of the land team.

Importantly, this role will enable you to not only focus on your career, but also on your family life with flexibility around core hours to allow for pick-ups, drop-offs and an early finish every Friday! The team often enjoy Friday evening drinks, long lunches or screening a big football game in their charming courtyard on site offering a away from home atmosphere.

If this sounds like it could be up your street, give me a call on 020 7766 9015 (and ask for Ettie) to find out more.
