Asset Manager - Industrial and Logistics

Hands on Asset Management role working for an extremely acquisitive Industrial and Logistics Fund, with ambitious plans to continually expand their AUM across the UK. They have an international commercial property portfolio and a very well respected and experienced team, and now need to further expand by bringing on a London based Asset Manager.

Ideal candidates will be MRICS, with 0 - 3 years PQE and they are happy to look at people who want their first clientside move from an advisory firm. Most relevant and transferrable experience is Leasing Agency and / or L&T. Industrial experience would be ideal, but they are also happy to consider people with Retail or Office expertise. 

It's a very hands and holistic, working within a well respected and busy team. Candidates need to understand how to really drive value from a portfolio from the bottom up and take an asset by asset approach. The role will involve driving lettings campaigns, negotiating and re-gearing leases, liaising closely with tenants, implementing and delivering refurbishment projects and also working both autonomously and as part of an integrated team. Requirements:

MRICS or a RICS accredited degree and commensurate industry experience

Up to five years’ experience in a relevant professional area, ideally as an Asset Manager in light industrial, retail, office or logistics real estate, although they would also consider people from Advisory side Agency or Lease Advisory teams.

A very numerate approach and a strong head for analysis and data  - you’ll be assisting senior asset managers with validating valuations and forward-looking financial projections.
